Save the planet, buy shoes!

”OMG!! Sweet shoes!!!”
I was extremely excited when I walked into the Ruby Slipper. It reminded of a boutique found straight out of Seattle. Colorful walls, quirky furniture, and enviormentally friendly products are a few things this store has to offer.
The shoes – oh gosh, don’t get me started on the shoes. I can say that I was never much of a shoe fanatic in the past, but recently I have been discovering that shoes are esstential.
Whether you wear them for comfort, a certain sport, or to make your day a little more fun, shoes are a supreb way to express your individuality. With the resources we have been blessed with, a lot of us have the ability to be selective about our shoes.

Ananas are way cool bags. Hand made by designer Jennifer Lagdameo in New York, she uses all organic materials found in the Philipines. Cocunut shells, mother-of-pearl shells, and polished native woods are organic materials used in the bags.

don't ask designsTwo of the local designers sold at the shop are Chemical Wedding, and don’t ask designs. Shelby Sneva from Spokane, is the creator of don’t ask designs and uses all recycled leather for her line of clutches, wallets, and handbags. The appeal of recycled materials is another quality that draws the “granola crowd” of Spokane to the Ruby Slipper.Corso Como shoes
